چکیده
The Acoustic Black Hole (ABH) effect refers to a special vibration damping technique adapted thin-walled structures such as beams or plates. It usually consists of local decrease the structure thickness profile, associated thin viscoelastic coating placed in area minimum thickness. has been shown that structural design acts an efficient damper high frequency range, but not at low frequencies. This paper investigates how different types absorbers, linear and nonlinear, added primary system can improve performance beam ABH termination. In particular, conjugated effects Tuned Mass Damper (TMD), Nonlinear Energy Sink (NES), bi-stable NES (BNES), vibro-impact (VI-ABH) are investigated. Forced response random excitation computed time domain using modal approach combined with energy conserving numerical scheme. Frequency indicators defined characterize compare all solutions. simulation results clearly show proposed methods able damp efficiently flexural vibrations broadband manner. optimal tuning each solution is then investigated through thorough parametric study, showing optimize efficiency solution. TMD VI-ABH slight dependence on amplitude, while BNES have peak for moderate amplitudes.

Application of linear and nonlinear vibration absorbers for the nonlinear beam under moving load
Recently, a large amount of studies have been related to nonlinear systems with multi-degrees of freedom as well as continuous systems. The purpose of this paper is to optimize passive vibration absorbers in linear and nonlinear states for an Euler-Bernoulli beam with a nonlinear vibratory behavior under concentrated moving load. The goal parameter in the optimization is maximum deflection of t...

متن کاملDraft: a Principle of Similarity for Nonlinear Vibration Absorbers
With continual interest in expanding the performance envelope of engineering systems, nonlinear components are increasingly utilized in real-world applications. This causes the failure of wellestablished techniques to mitigate resonant vibrations. In particular, this holds for the linear tuned vibration absorber (LTVA), which requires an accurate tuning of its natural frequency to the resonant ...

Considering the stress cycles in the joints and members due to wave induced forces on offshore platforms, fatigue analysis is therefore one of the most important analyses in the offshore platforms design. Although most of the steel jacket type platforms are designed and located in areas with relatively high ratios of operational sea-states, for maximum environmental events, would have acceptabl...
